Angelina Jolie Turns Brad Pitt's Marriage Proposal Down Flat By Cathy Beers
May 15, 2006 In a move that will surprise very few that have been following the saga that is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - it is being reported that Angelina has turned Brad's marriage proposal down flat and will have her soon to be born
baby as a single mom.

Numerous reports have claimed that the traditional minded Pitt has always wanted to marry Jolie, but as far back as before the pair acknowledged that Jolie was even
pregnant she has stated that she would not marry Pitt.
She reportedly told Sin City director Robert Rodriguez: 'We will never marry'. But according to America's Star magazine, the
actress then said: 'If the kids get older and demand that we have a ceremony, we might. But that's a touchy subject with us.'
I guess so.

Now an insider has revealed to Britain's Grazia magazine that 'Brad has literally got down on his knees to beg Angelina to change her mind. But the report then says the puffy lipped mom to be giggles and then pulls him to his feet, kisses him and says:
'Let's not ruin something so perfect'.'
Pitt is fresh off a failed marriage to American actress Jennifer Aniston and Angelina is reportedly not anxious to rush into another marriage following her divorces from
actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

Maybe she's right - three failed marriages between two people might cause one to indeed take pause.
Too bad there are two kids involved and one on the way.
Note: Keep in mind - one compromise may have already happened. Life & Style Weekly reports the pair were 'hitched' in some sort of Himba ceremony. That would mean they are not legally married, but may have satisfied Pitt.
