New mother BRITNEY SPEARS gave fans a pleasant surprise on Friday (14OCT05), when she stepped out and showed off her slimmed-down figure during a dinner date with her husband KEVIN FEDERLINE.

The TOXIC singer hadn't previously been seen out in public following the 14 September (05) arrival of her son SEAN PRESTON.

But a month to the day after the boy's birth, Spears and Federline dined at Malibu, California, restaurant Moonshadow, where onlookers marvelled at how quickly the pop beauty shed her baby weight.

Spears' former trainer BOBBY STROM says, "She's a pro. She knows what to do (to get back in shape)."

That's right--she's a pro...which means she'll OD on caffeine (jump back--Starbucks stock is gonna shoot through the roof!) and chain-smoke like an industrial chimney.

I read in some goss mag on the plane today that she may have had a tummy tuck. Some "unnamed" Hollywood plastic surgeon speculated on it or something.

I think she lost all that weight on her own. She is young, she was in shape, she is losing money every second that she stays at home, (because we all know that KFed isn't going to bring in the money) SO of course she is gonna get rid of the weight quick!
