Angry Promoters are Suing Jennifer Lopez For Cancelling Her Tour

Bulgarian promoters Pick and More have teamed up with their colleagues from the rest of the cities where Latin diva Jennifer Lopez cancelled her tour to sue her.

Apart from the star's fee, the organizers of her Bulgarian gig admitted that they had spent about EUR 203,000 on commercials and to satisfy Lopez' many whims. The promoters said they has spent a little over EUR 3,000 on sunflower seeds, chili, aroma candles and mineral water, and then had to double the sum to transport all the supplies from the states.

Now J Lo is facing a trial and all the angry promoters are determined to get their money back. The most disappointing fact, Pick and More admitted, was that the diva didn't give any reason for the cancellation. The short note announcing that the rest of the tour was not to be did not bear any explanation, and many find this unethical.

There are many rumors going on, Nina Girginova, Project Manager at Pick and More explained, admitting that she was most inclined to believe that Lopez might be pregnant. "Whatever the reason is, she should have explained it, and even if she had lied it would have been better than not giving the fans any reason at all."

The promoters admitted that they were very disappointed with the diva, and that they wouldn't try to work with her ever again. "There's no place for personal quarrels in show business," Girginova said, "but you simply cannot cancel a tour without explaining why."

All Bulgarian fans who purchased tickets will get their money back, the company announced, and they'd be able to do so at the places they got them from May 17 on.

Pick and More promised the Bulgarian audience many more big names throughout the year, refusing to name anyone except for the gigs they are already selling tickets for - Sting, 50 Cent, Nazareth and Billy Idol.

The Latin star was supposed to hold her concert in Sofia on May 2, as part of the tour promoting her latest album "Rebirth", but she delayed the gig for May 23. Afterwards she cancelled the tour, leaving thousands of disillusioned fans in Mocow, Dubai, Mumbai, Athens, Baku and Thessaloniki.

This is the first time I have ever heard of an entertainer cancelling a big event with no press releases giving the reason, or a public apology to all the people that lost money on hotel and plane reservations, and not counting the thousands of people in those countries. So many people are angry with her. But I believe she is pregnant and just waiting for the right time to announce it.

She was seen on Spanish TV Saturday getting off a plane with Marc in Columbia because he's touring there. She's able to go with Marc on his tour, but cancels HER tour causing all those people such hardships, and still with no apology or explaination. If she's pregnant, why doesn't she just come out and apologize and let her fans know!

One of the reasons I have respect for Gwen Stefani; she still got out there and did the tour, announcing the pregnancy at the end because she felt she'd left fans down by not giving it her all. JHo just doesn't even show!

LOL the sunflower seeds and chili part reminded me of the article I saw on Conversations About Famous People... someone overheard JLo begging Ben Affleck for sex and he said something like "Are you sure you're feeling better? I don't want you to shit on me again."

They were discussing this on my local radio station and said that JLo has never toured in the US, it seems as if she has, but she constantly schedules dates and then cancels. The DJ's were speculating that the dates get cancelled because she can't fill the venue and it would be embarrassingly obvious, so she makes up a reason to cancel. That, and she can't sing live.
