Britney Spears: 'I'll never give up my career to be a stay at home mum'
Quote:
BRITNEY Spears says she'll never give up her career to be a stay at home mum.
Britney, who is pregnant with her second child, says eight-month-old Sean Preston is a happier baby when she performs.
The Toxic star reckons her singing and dancing has a positive effect on her son.
But Britney, who is married to Kevin Federline, insists she would never neglect her kids because of work.
The 24-year-old said: "I genuinely love to sing and dance. When I get in a creative mood, I can't shut up. It's the craziest thing."
She went on: "At one point I was thinking of being a home mom, but when my son sees me dance he lights up. Then I know what I'm supposed to be doing - if mom's happy, baby's happy!"
She added: "I've been meeting with different people to work on the album and looking at different movie scripts."
Sun Online revealed yesterday how the singer was keen to star in a flick with Hollywood hunk George Clooney.
Britney even said she'd go full-frontal if the role required it.

First, I'm not sure she's performed since the kid was born. Second, she might not have to give up her career; there's a good chance it won't be there waiting in a year or two.

The kid is "lighting up" because he is laughing at her trying to sing and dance. He is already smarter than she is.

Re: Britney Spears: 'I'll never give up my career to be a stay at home mum'
Ugh...that whole "if mom's happy, baby's happy" thing is such bullshit. She's going the Madonna route, gonna' do whatever the hell she wants to do and use the argument above to justify it - then when she's 200 years old and her kids think she's an idiot she's gonna release a statement about how she worries she's a bad mom because of her career.
Wake up honey! Dancing doesn't make you a good mom. Leaving your loser husband and making some mature and informed decisions about your future - that might help!

Brit's career is over but you know what? I think her sister's is just starting. My daughter played me a song that Jamie Lynn did and I thought it was fantastic. I have to honestly say she can sing. It hurt to say that.

Jamie Lynn is a cutie and I hope she learns by her sister's mistakes. I watch her show "Zoey 101" with my son.

^^ I read an interview TV Guide did with Jamie Lynn and the interviewer said that one of the rules was Britney was not allowed to be mentioned. Maybe her sister is embarrassed. LOL

I'm going to guess it's the same 'singing' Britney did...which means a producer recorded her a million times and then pieced together a song from the best of the lot, buried half of it under production and compressed the rest to sound 'good'. There are any number of 'singers' who do this. As far as that show....one of my kids likes it but eh, she won't be winning an Oscar any time soon.

I find Jamie Lynn very hard to watch on TV. Not a good actress at all, surprise surprise. Haven't heard her 'music' yet.

I like to smoke crack & disappear for days at a time.
Funny, my baby doesn't seem to like that. What gives?

Re: Britney Spears: 'I'll never give up my career to be a stay at home mum'
When has that child seen her out on stage dancing and singing? Yeah I agree with the post about him laughing at her dancing. He probably also has gas.
I guess baby isnt gonna be happy now for the next few months since Mama cant dance.
I figure she cant give up her "career" cause she now has to support what K-Fuckhead's two kids from Shar, K-fuckhead himself and now two of her own. Thats a grand total of 5 kids to support. I see Branson or Las Vegas for Britney in about 5 yrs and we aint talking The Palm or MGM.
