Performing in rock band GARBAGE was slowly killing singer SHIRLEY MANSON and she's stunned by the difference in her health since they split last month (SEP05).
The Scottish star launched herself into a healthy lifestyle after the band decided to take a temporary break after 12 years together.
She says, "I have eaten more veg, fresh fruit and fish in the past two weeks than in 10 months.
"My hair has stopped falling out and my nails have stopped breaking.
"I am back working out with a trainer. I've seen my shrink more than once.
"I've played cards with girlfriends. I've beaten boyfriends at Scrabble and I've caught up on all the TV shows. I could go on and on but you get the picture."
