From World Entertainment News Network
Evangeline Lilly models herself after Angelina Jolie and dreams of following in the campaigning actress' footsteps.
The Lost beauty insists she shares Jolie's passion for charitable causes and her love of children too.
Lilly, who is dating Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan, says, "She's a phenomenal example to young women because she's a successful career woman, a humanitarian and a mother too.
"The concept of acting in movies, being an international delegate for the UN, adopting children and being a mother is so much responsibility. I have a lot of respect for her.
"If I could take one item to a desert island with me it would be a child to keep me going. I've been working with children for the last 10 years in so many different places and I love it.
"It's something that drives me. When I was a young girl I used to say I wanted between 12 and 20 kids. Children will always be a huge part of my life."

I almost gagged when I read the title of this thread. But now I get what Evie finds commendable about Ang. I can't argue with any of it.

I don't respect people for having kids. I respect people for making their kids grow up to be balanced and un-fucked up people. So, about Angelina's kids, we'll talk about it again in some 15-20 years.

Here at the Church of St. Angelina, our patron saint can do no wrong. We hope she adopts 50 kids.

And when she is ... and I quote *old*, we can throw her to the lions like a certain someone did to poor Mia.

I'm not sure someones sexuality is a gauge of their 'goodness' as a person. I mean, we certainly don't think that a gay man or lesbian can't be a good parent do we?

I certainly believe that someone can be honestly bisexual. The people I have a problem with are the ones who use it as an excuse to sleep with everything in sight. Or married women who say they sleep with women and 'their husbands don't mind'. Yes, I'm sure the husbands don't mind that their wives are cheating skanks. Bisexuality does not equal promiscuity.
Just for the record, that was a general comment and I was not referring to anyone in particular.

I know alot of people are going to disagree but this is only my opinion; they shouldn't have children because I think its wrong. Be gay, whatever. But bringing a child into that and them having to live with 2 mums, or 2 dads might cause problems for them.

^^ Well as a lesbian mother, I would definitely disagree with you about that. I have two kids and they are fine with the fact that their mother dates women.
Just because someone is straight, doesn't mean they are a good parent or can provide a stable home for children. Sexuality has nothing to do with a person's ability to parent.

I agree with you on that. I'm not saying all kids have problems but I used to go to school with a girl whose mother was a lesbian and the girls in particular were really mean. Theyd say things like, "Dont go to so-and-so's house, her mum will hit on you", and just being the bitches that girls are. So I'm just referring to that situation.
