Nicole Kidman: 'I still love Tom Cruise'

Private Kidman has always refused to discuss the heartbreaking split, but opened up to the publication, even admitting she knew the marriage was in trouble before Cruise stunned Hollywood and filed for divorce - but it still came as a huge shock.

She confesses, "I knew I was going to get hit by something, but I think a divorce, and the demise of what your family is, is a little like a death in itself".

I think they have joint custody, but for some reason they always seem to be with Tom Cruise.

Tom felt for Nicole exactly what he feels for Katie. Although Tom's been more public with his feelings for Kate, when he and Nicole first got together, Tom was quite besotted. To be honest, I always thought that Tom had stronger feelings for Nicole than she for him and when they split, I thought for sure she'd left him. I was surprised it was the other way around. I see a train wreck coming for Katie too.

Revenge is sweet though. Nicole's career seemed to kick start again once she left AND she got an Oscar long before he's ever even been nominated. She doesn't need him. People admired her strength and how she handled herself when he'd so obviously kicked her to the curb. She was classy throughout the whole thing. She'd be wise to keep her mouth shut about him now or she'll lose any credibility. The guy's not right. She needs to thank her lucky stars and pray for Katie.

Hmmm....manboob, you might be on to something. The Pellicano trial is going to be very, very interesting, considering that Bert Fields, the lawyer to the stars (particularly Tomthumb) worked extensively with the private dick. Interesting, interesting.

I don't think this is all that spectacular. Lots of people divorce and still 'love' the other person. She didn't say "I am still in love with him". She said "I loved him. I still love him." As in he is the father of my children and we were married for x amount of time....I don't think this is anything...
