But after the two stars found themselves in the same Los Angeles hospital last month--becoming parents on the same day--the war of words has ceased.
And to make sure Shields knows she's back in Cruise's good books, he has sent her baby gifts.
He says, "We sent her a gift and I'm really happy for her... We sent her a basket."
And Shields insists she'll accept the gift as a token of renewed friendship: "I haven't received it yet but that's awfully kind of him."

Ummm.....why would Sheilds have to make the effort to get back in Cruise's good books? ***shrugs**. I think it should be the other way around. He's such a pompous ass where she's so...classy.
