.. but don't worry, it's just Tom's way of getting her fit
Kiki King, Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley
IMAGINE you've just given birth and your hubby-to-be has already designed a fitness programme for you to lose all the baby weight.
Welcome to the world of Katie Holmes.
The actress, 27, who gave birth to daughter Suri two weeks ago, has signed up with the brilliantly-named Buff Brides ahead of the wedding of the year to Tom Cruise, 43, this summer.
Tom told Kate - as he calls her now - that he wants her to be the most beautiful bride ever, and he even helped oversee the fitness programme.
But one person who isn't pleased is Katie's dad, Martin. "My daughter needs rest, relaxation and recuperation," he tells this week's Reveal magazine.
"Katie is already doing exercises to build up her back and shoulders and I simply can't go along with what's happening."
Not a smart move to annoy your future father-in-law, Tom...
Katie aims to shed three stone from her pre-birth weight - and Buff Brides' Sue Fleming reckons she'll succeed in time. "Katie can and will do it," she says.
"She has great motivation. She loves her fiance and was proud that Tom oversaw this programme.
"He told her he wanted her to be the most beautiful bride ever. She was in tears when he said that."
Tears of joy, we wonder... or sheer panic?
Buff Brides fitness guru Brad Kaufman adds: "The wedding is on the fast track. We've been told to get Katie into amazing shape. It's all systems go."
Meanwhile we hear Tom and Brooke Shields have buried the hatchet after the little man criticised her for taking antidepressants.
The 40-year-old actress did the grown-up thing and sent a congratulatory bunch of pink and yellow roses to Tom and Katie after Suri was born the same day as her daughter Grier.
"Brooke has a big heart. It was her way of setting aside her differences with Tom," our State-side snitch revealed.
"Tom and Katie have been discussing forming celebrity 'Mommy & Me' playdates - and Tom's suggested Brooke and Grier join up."
How delightful...

"Katie is already doing exercises to build up her back and shoulders ...
Why? Did she give birth to a 100-pound baby and now she can't pick her up?
The 40-year-old actress did the grown-up thing and sent a congratulatory bunch of pink and yellow roses to Tom and Katie after Suri was born the same day as her daughter Grier.
Did the idiot not congratulate her in return? Tom = big fat LOSER.

This breakup, when it comes, could be the Hollywood breakup to end all Hollywood breakups. Just imagine: accusations of brainwashing, pillows popping out of wombs, Tomthumb's late night cruises on Sunset Blvd.

If my baby daddy said "I want you to be the most beautiful bride ever!"
First thing I would think is that "Oh so you think I look like sh*t right now?"
Boot to the groin. This guy is a psycho freak and he has to be g*y because no straight man would say this crap to a female. They know better.

Right you are, OCD. I mean, the man has been married twice before and in any number of 'relationships' with women. Is anyone trying to tell me he still doesn't know the correct way to respond to the 'Do I look fat in this' line of questioning?
