David LaChapelle considered suicide because of bullying

American photographer David LaChapelle wanted to kill himself because of bullies.
The outspoken snapper has worked with numerous top stars, including Madonna, Drew Barrymore and Marilyn Manson, but he wasn't always so popular.
LaChapelle has revealed that as a child he was forced to hide from "badly-dressed' bullies who made his life hell by hurling milk cartons at him.
He told Britain's Guardian newspaper: "I remember being 14 years old and not wanting to live, but I couldn't do it because my parents were so nice, I thought it would ruin their lives."
The top lensman - who directed Christina Aguilera's 'Dirrty' video - may have had first hand experience of bullies but that did not stop him publicly slating superstar siblings Jessica and Ashlee Simpson.
The respected snapper had been lined up to shoot the girls for a Rolling Stone cover but took offence after they refused to pose for him.

He ranted: "They're everything that's wrong with music, they're everything wrong with art - in one family. They hold no interest whatsoever for anybody. They're red-carpety, lip-synching television stars. I don't think they offer anything."

He does make a good point about the Simpson girls...

"They're everything that's wrong with music, they're everything wrong with art - in one family. They hold no interest whatsoever for anybody. They're red-carpety, lip-synching television stars. I don't think they offer anything."

yeah, but the only reason he said that was because they refused to do a photoshoot with him. not that i like the simpsons (definitely not!), but dave chapelle is an ass.

yeah, but they are bigger asses. Frankly, the 3 of them could drop off the face of the planet and I bet nobody would miss 'em. He should have to drop off just for "Dirrrrty".

that is sad about being teased but staying around for the parents.
so many people were teased as kids, it is just a part of growing up, it sucks but it needs to let go.
