The blonde actress told Britain's Sunday Times magazine: "Coming out of a marriage in your mid-thirties, it's an interesting place to be. And so it kind of inspired me to play with that in a movie.'

The Truth about Cats and Dogs? Ummm. I saw that like almost 10 years ago?? How could her divorce 3 years ago have impacted her character in that movie?

Gary was/is a heroin addict and drunk. Posts like this show just how gullible people are -- this story is totally made up.

I dont believe any of the stories I read here - I may have stated that 10 or 12 times in the last month.

But, you know... I didn't know Gary was/IS a heroin addict. Where is the story on this? If you directed me to the story, I doubt I would believe it, but I would love to read it anyway...and would like to see the source, too

Gary was once an alcoholic, but he only played a heroin addict in Sid & Nancy. He has said himself that he never used drugs and I believe him.
He has been alcohol free for ten or so years now, according to him. And again, I believe him.

I read those quotes in an interview, but they are trying to make a story out of nothing. she says she does still love Ethan but has never mentioned getting back with him. I think it's a natural feeling to have toward the father of your children in some cases. I don't know why they expect all divorced people to hate each other. but she has been seen fighting with him lately so I doubt they would ever get back.

You're right emilymoon. The whole idea that because a relationship didn't work out means that it has to denigrate into hatred and bitterness is such a soap opera attitude. They've got kids together, they must have loved each other once, so use that as a basis for maintaining a decent relationship of some sort.
