Pete Doherty bailed out of jail

Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has been released from a London police cell on bail, after pictures published in a British tabloid seemed to show him administering illegal drugs to an unconscious girl. The BABYSHAMBLES frontman was arrested yesterday morning (29APR06), just hours before he was due on stage in London's Trafalgar Square for an anti-racism concert. The pictures, published in Friday's (28APR06) edition of The Sun, appear to depict the self-confessed drug addict injecting himself with heroin, as well as a comatose young fan on his kitchen floor. Doherty denies the insinuations, insisting the photos are "staged", but spent Saturday night behind bars nevertheless after police raided his London home. The singer is already on police bail for another drug-related incident last week (21APR06).

i believe that the photo was staged.. even pete wouldnt be stupid enough to let someone take of a picture of it if he was REALLY injecting her!

So he's out of jail. I guess this means we will hear about how he got himself re-arrested in a day or two for more drug charges.

Yes, it's not like Pete and Kate arranged to have "friends" or photogs looking for easy money or settling scores to take incriminating photos of them. Good grief, people. You're acting like he's Satan. He's a rocker who is a junkie. Happens all the time, in case you didn't know.

Plus, given all the class A drugs he's had on him, his ass should be in jail already. If it was any one of us, we'd be there.
