REESE WITHERSPOON is so determined to forgive her brother JOHN - who has just completed two years' probation for sexual assault - she has given him a job. The LEGALLY BLONDE actress believes employing him as her assistant on the set of new movie OUR FAMILY TROUBLE is the perfect way to help him move on. But Witherspoon's husband RYAN PHILLIPE is reportedly not so sure. A friend of Witherspoon says, "Ryan is seething. He doesn't like John." John Witherspoon pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary and sexual battery after his arrest in 2002. He was accused of sneaking into a neighbour's house and drunkenly molesting her as she slept.

Well, at least you can't say she doesn't stand by and support her blood. But only 2 years probabtion for sexual assault? Sounds like a light sentence, unless it was really blown out of porportion. Hell, when I was a kid I got a stiffer penance from the priest for even THINKING about sex....

This story is right next to the one about Pete D. Druggie shooting up some unconscious fan with heroin. These two blokes should get together and look for passed out girls to torment then fall off a cliff together.

i think it is nice that she is extending to him. i wonder about celebrities who can help their family but don't...Ashton Kutcher, Mimi...
and he sounds pervy.
