Actually several media outlets reported on this today. Apparently Britney and KFed had a fight in a restaurant in front of a lot of people over the fact that he'd invited Paris Hilton to his listening party and Britney took offense at that. The media sources claimed Britney and Paris are bitter rivals. Supposedly Britney stomped off to her suite and refused to go to KFeds listening party. But the funny part is that Paris Hilton stood up KFed, sending her parents to the party.

That's what I couldn't figure out but I posted two different stories about it at http://watchingbritney.blogspot.com today. Didn't know there was a rivalry between them. The funniest news story of the day on Britney is that her fans are rising up to make sure that the false tabloids stop print rumors about her. They are starting to organize to debate and post everywhere online that is bashing their wonderous Britney.

She probably wasn't there because she was embarrassed by how laughably bad this album is and she doesn't want to be associated with it.

What I don't understand is how does her loser husband manage to have 'a few hundred fans'. Who are these people? Were they paid to be there? Are they all tone deaf? Is anyone still speaking to him after listening to his trashy music?

I read the fight was about the fact that she wanted him to stand on his own feet and stop using her to generate publicity for his record. She threw back in his face that he told the public he wasn't riding on Britney's coat tails and she said he should do what he said. Or something like that.

Hotmommadrama.blogspot has a slightly different take on the fight that seems to make sense.

"The on-again, off-again couple apparently had a blowup before he sang two songs from his new CD, "Playing With Fire," at Pure nightclub Friday.

Earlier, Spears left Nero's restaurant at Caesars Palace in tears, spies said, and she was a no-show on the red carpet at Pure.

The word I'm hearing is that Federline didn't want her overshadowing him on the red carpet, where two dozen camera crews waited.

She went back to their suite while Federline joined family and friends at Pure. Paris Hilton's mother, Kathy, introduced him to the crowd."

I can totally see him as an insecure little bastard.

That makes more sense than the Britney-Paris non existent feud doesn't it and it's all over the web this morning as the reason that Britney was a no show. I can see it. He's just that painfully clueless and obnoxious. I hope she tortured him but good afterwards. Shred his wifebeaters and manpris.

The article I read is that he banned her from the gig and they got in a fight when he told her over dinner that she wasn't allowed to come. Apparently he gave her something like a two hour notice. It was the overshadowing comment that is posted up above.

Now in reality, he picked a fight with her because he didn't want to be seen with her. I'm sure he thought that her appearance would make him look bad, NTM it's really tacky to hit on women when your wife is there.

The real reason for Britney Spears failing to attend the listening party of her husband’s Kevin Federline’s debut album in Las Vegas has been revealed.

It was reported yesterday that Britney had boycotted the party after she found out Paris Hilton had been invited.

However, it now seems that the real reason was that Federline did not want her there as he was concerned that his much more famous wife may upstage him! Well, duh!

The couple allegedly went for dinner together prior to K-Fed’s big event during which he spelled out to Britter’s that he didn’t want her upstage him.

A few words were exchanged; some onlookers have described the tiff as “A huge fight”.

An onlooker said to the Daily Star: “It was a full blown war of words that got louder and louder and more heated as the dinner went on.

“It was a very bad night for Britney. Federline didn’t want Britney overshadowing him on the red carpet.

“Shaking and in tears, Britney fled the restaurant and raced up to her suite alone, boycotting his performance.”

Maybe she should just boycott him…once and for all!
