Matthew McConaughey is our kind of chap.
Yes, he may be extremely good looking, but it's his credentials as a man of action that have impressed us.
The Sahara star bravely saved an innocent little kitty from being potentially burned to death.
It all happened when he was driving through Sherman Oaks in California and saw something that made him stop in his tracks.
A group of kids had covered a cat in hairspray and were trying to set it alight.
How anyone could even think of doing something so cruel, we simply can't understand.
And nor could Matthew.
He got out of his car, confronted the kids, grabbed the hairspray and took the frightened feline off to an animal shelter.
A pal told the Daily Mirror: "He was so angry he went on about it for days afterwards."
We can see exactly why Penelope Cruz is so keen on her man.

Great story! Those kids should've been turned in though.

We have a pair of mallard ducks that have made their home in my neighborhood every spring for 10 years, every evening they come to my yard for dinner, they're so cute. I had some little shits trying to chase/tease the ducks. Yelled at them little assholes but good....so did the old lady across the street. Cruelty against animals is the worst, they're so helpless. There's some saying about how you can tell a person's true goodness by how they treat animals.

the same thing happened to me, i saw these 5 guys kicking around a poor kitty with 3 legs, i guess they thought it was funny, i got so mad at them, sceaming and saying i was going to kick their ass and etc., i guess i scared them lol. i didn;t think until afterwards that it was 5 guys that could have beat the shit out of me. i don't care tho, they were making me mad!
