Shakira to headline the World Cup along with Wyclef Jean

Colombian pop beauty SHAKIRA has been confirmed as the headliner at this year's (06) soccer World Cup in Germany, performing alongside hip-hop star WYCLEF JEAN. The singer will perform her new hit MY HIPS DON'T LIE before the championship decider on 9 July at Berlin's Olympic stadium. Her record label Sony BMG has enthusiastically endorsed the choice, insisting Shakira will be the perfect warm-up to a nail-biting match. A spokesperson says, "It is sure to make the thousands and thousands of fans gathered at the stadium get up and dance before kick-off."

I agree, she's gorgeous in that video. I hadn't noticed how beautiful she was with the usual peroxided hair extensions before but now she has really found her style - she also owns the stage and composes her music, the more I know about her the more I like her - And the fans video on hips don't lie is really funny too
