Look at the word "humanely". They are chickens, they are food - there isn't anything humane about raising "food". They are treated like food. I don't kick dogs or anything, I just eat CHICKEN!!!

I don't scare easily. I eat tuna fish out of the can too, and I bet in that filthy little practice, I've consumed dolphin - and it was GOOD!!!! Tasted like CHICKEN!!!!

We actually ate the chickens we raised. When's the last time you visited anything considered "factory farming"? If you haven't, why don't you educate yourself in some way other than a website. Otherwise, don't blather on in such an "ignorant manner".

Tiki, one word of advice. Your holy crusade to ensure no one eats meat turns off a lot of people who would normally consider your points. It's the way you are presenting your arguement. It's not just you, but the entire PETA - ALF group. Did you know I used to be a vegan until I was told to stop by my doctor for health reasons dealing with certain types of protein? In theory I agree with not being cruel to animals but when people trot out the self santification, self righteousness and bad behavior to push this it makes me wish to rush out and have a nice juicy delicious steak just to piss them off. You're no different from those people that run around and tell others they are going to hell if they don't repent and study the Bible and go to this church or that. You're exactly the same and can expect much the same result. PETA = extreme wackos without any manners. Mentally I tell myself now that PETA are the intials for People Eating Tasty Animals.

SVZ ban me if you wish but I am sick to death of the animal rights folks on this board turning every single discussion into a Pro PETA thumping thread. I'm an Xian but I have enough respect for everyone else on the board NOT to bash them with my believes, I just ask for a bit of the SAME restrain...
