Lindsay Lohan loses contract with Louis Vuitton

Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed by Louis Vuitton bosses who have dropped plans to make her the new face of the label.

Instead, the exclusive contract has been handed to Naomi Campbell who will now replace Leonardo DiCaprio's ex Gisele Bundchen.

The change was reportedly ordered by the label's designer Marc Jacobs, who is rumoured to be good friends with Lohan.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Marc is great friends with Lindsay and she loves his clothes so it was no surprise rumours were flying that he was pushing his French bosses to get her to star in their campaign.

"But they thought Lindsay was too American for their global brand."

Campbell is said to be thrilled to be have been awarded the contract.

Phew! I can't imagine total TRASH like Lindsay trying to sell upscale products like Vuitton. I say, 'Good choice'.

Look at Kate Moss. She's getting contracts galore, left and right now. I bought the latest copy of British Glamour today and I couldn't fathom just how many PAGES I saw Kate in! Sometimes bad publicity is good for their careers--don't know why... Perhaps Lohan should be caught on film snorting or whipping her cell phone in her assistant's face, perhaps that'll get Vuitton on their knees!
