Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
Quote:
Footloose And Fancy Free
We've discovered that lots of celebs like to go bare.
We've spotted several getting 'em out in inappropriate settings.
We're talking about their feet, of course.
Maybe they can sense that spring is on its way, and are just a wee bit premature in baring their soles.
And we can understand that sometimes standing around in killer heels at all those premieres and parties must be murder on delicate tootsies.
Shoeless Victoria Beckham
The thought of damp, springy grass under your naked toes is a beautiful fantasy at such pain-wracked moments.
But walking down the street barefoot - you know who we mean, Sienna Miller - is surely playing Russian Roulette with doggy doodoo.
We've also noted something of a trend among singers performing shoe-less on stage - Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Osbourne and Joss Stone.
Check out our gallery to see the stars who prefer to give their little piggies a good old airing.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I really hate it when people walk around barefoot outside... the only exceptions being beaches and parks ofcourse its just plain unhygienic. I mean who knows whats been on the ground before your feet and do they wash there feet before they get into bed at nite .... ugh just so revolting

I don't know, it's not like you're eating with your feet. I love to go barefoot any chance I can get.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I like walking barefoot at home (when it's not too cold) and beaches and parks are ok too. But on the streets, meh, too gross.
I will never forget that pic of Britney going to the restroom at that gas station. She's holding on to her dress as if she doesn't want it to get dirty but at the same time she's walking barefoot in what has to be a mixture of urine and gasoline....nice

Oh me, too. I can't stand to wear socks at home so I'm usually barefoot.
I agree that beaches and parks are o.k. but not on the street. Once I was walking on the street with flip flops and I got spat on my foot by some jerk... Gross!
Protect your feet everybody!

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I go barefoot at home but going barefoot in public is pretty tacky and dangerous too--you never know what you might step on.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
EVERYBODY goes barefoot at home in Oz, and it's not at all unusual to see people (usually blokes) wandering around the supermarket with no shoes on. No worries.

Maybe Oz is cleaner. Here in the good ole Us of A, people are such litterbugs and there is so much trash on the ground.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
The area I live in is really nice so I'm not worried about hypodermic needles and other such nasties, so yeah I'm barefoot quite a lot. I don't consider it dirty or anything, and my feet will always wash, no matter what I stand in.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
When I was growing up, in the summer, we would go barefoot everywhere. It just was accepted back then and I am talking like 70's and early 80's. Grocery store. In to town. I lived in the country so it was normal for children and young kids to go barefoot everywhere. I don't now. Only at home because you just don't know what may be on the ground and I am not in the country anymore.
We ALWAYS washed our feet before bed. Grandma would have it no other way.
