Actress GABRIELLE UNION is plucking up the courage to face-off with the deviant who raped her in the back room of a shoe store in 1992 - in a bid to keep him behind bars.
The CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE star was assaulted at gunpoint when she was just 19 and only escaped with her life when she managed to disarm her attacker.
Now, the rapist is set for a parole hearing later this year (06). Union states, "He took a plea bargain and got 33 years but he's up for parole this year and I will be testifying to make sure he stays where he needs to be - in prison."

I remember her very candidly talking about what happened. They were closing up the store I think and how she was forced to laydown at her job on the floor while the man pointed the gun at her head and raped her.
Very sad to hear.
