Paula Abdul: 'I was attacked'

"She claimed she was at a private party on April 2 and that at 1 a.m., an argument occurred between her and a man and that the man grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall," Harding said.

"She claimed to have suffered a concussion and spinal injuries."

They said on the show Extra that her ex-boyfriend was assulted also, seems he had to get stitches. Maybe she was getting hit on.

Must have thrown her pretty hard for her to get (allegedly) concussion and spinal injuries. Remember the hit and run she was involved in and lied about?

She does know who he is. A former CAA agent (maybe even hers). I'm so glad her ex was there .... maybe they're back together. He's SO HOT.

American Idol judge Paula Abdul visited a local police station after a recent evening out allegedly turned bad. LAPD Lieutenant Paul Vernon tells Us: “At 9 p.m. April 4, Paula Abdul came into the Hollywood Station to fill out a police report involving an incident at a party at 1 a.m on April 2.

She said a man at the party grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall. She claimed to have a concussion and spinal injuries. She told officers that she sought her own medical treatment and that she would agree to have her injuries photographed at a later date.” The LAPD are investigating her claims and will not release the name of the suspect pending investigation.

Us has learned that the night also ended with Abdul’s ex-boyfriend Dante Spencer in the hospital. According to a source, last Saturday night Abdul and friends headed to Xenii (a floating after-hours party held in a different location each week), where she ran into former CAA agent Jim Lefkowitz.

Lefkowitz took offense to Abdul’s “smirky attitude,” and after a heated discussion, the agent “accidentally-on-purpose bumped into her” so hard that Abdul ended up sprawled on the floor. Spencer then rushed to Abdul’s defense and punched Lefkowitz in the face, our witness says.

A shaken Abdul was taken home, complaining of pain in her lower back and a possible concussion. Spencer was driven to the hospital where he received stiches for a cut below his eyebrow.

A rep for Abdul declined to comment. Lefkowitz did not return a call to Us for comment.

This is just a tad too convenient for me. I guess the illnesses/injuries that she's been using to garner sympathy/use to excuse her drug abuse were receding too far from the public's memory. This woman injures her spine more easily than any human I've ever seen. Maybe she should just stay the hell home - she'd be safer, and I wouldn't have to hear about her any more.

I have a feeling that Paula will soon be entering a secluded 'hospital' for a lengthy treatment of her 'lingering problems and complications due to her injuries received in this incident, and NOTHING else!' per her spokesperson.

why would see agree to have her injuries photographed at a later date? what good is that going to do?

does she need a wheelchair? I mean that spine might just snap in half, it is so fragile.

Why did she wait until April 4 at 9 at night to file a report and not the day, April 2 immediately after the incident occured? I would have called the police, called an ambulance, etc. She can forget a lawsuit because she waited 2 days.

I agree with you 100%!! I say she goes to a "hospital" before the end of April.
