Calista Flockhart: 'I suffered from an eating disorder'

Calista then insisted she had a "healthy appetite" and blamed her skeletal frame on "tiny bones".

Now, the 40-year-old has admitted she failed to eat enough while under pressure in the spotlight.

Calista said: "At the time of all that, I was seriously stressed. I was working 15-hour days on the set and then I was dealing with the end of the show, which was basically my life. I started under-eating, over-exercising, pushing myself too hard and brutalising my immune system. I guess I just didn't find the time to eat. I am much more healthy these days."

Calista shocked fans with her gaunt appearance at the 1998 Emmy Awards. The 5ft 5in star had allowed her weight to plunge under seven stone.
There were also fears for her health when she collapsed on the set of her series the following year.

The US comedy drama, in which she found fame as flustered lawyer Ally, attracted up to four million viewers on Channel 4 but was axed in 2002.

Calista is now living with Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford, 63, while raising her adopted son, Liam, five.

But, despite recent reports of their engagement, the actress claimed she and Ford are not talking about getting married.
She explained: "We really haven't discussed it. He's had two long marriages before. But we're just very happy and content with the way things are. To be honest, I can go either way."

Oh I know she adopted, sorry if that didn't appear to make sense. I meant to say that I would have thought she would have been to thin to conceive IF the baby was hers.

Well well well. So the general publics suspicions were confirmed to be right yet again. Our gut instinct for the blatantly obvious never ceases to amaze me despite all the PR denials and celebs lying out of their heavily veneered teeth. I love being proved right. We rule!!
