Julia Roberts dropped from 'Oceans 13'

He told Associated Press: "It was a script issue. We didn't have a place to really use talent like theirs, two big stars like that. They're very good friends of ours, and neither the director Steven Soderbergh, nor I, would prevail on them to come back and do nothing just to do it."

However, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will be back - led again by Oscar winning hunk George Clooney as gang leader, Danny Ocean.

Studio bosses expect the rest of the cast - including Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac and Elliott Gould - to also sign up for the Las Vegas based sequel.

Filming is due to start in July, with the movie slated for release next summer (07).

She was heavily preggo in Oceans 12. If you watch the very few scenes she's actually in they have to film her from all kinds of clever angles to conceal it. There was absolutely no 'chemistry' between her and Clooney (does the woman have icewater in her veins?) so dumping her from Oceans 13 won't be a huge loss. I love the Oceans movies.

^^Yeah agreed about there being no chemistry but then I will let her off because of being pregnant. But in The Mexican with Pitt, there was also no chemistry. She is a bit cold on screen imo. I don't hate her though.

Hmm, she had chemstry in back in the day when she did Sleeping w/ the Enemy. I recently seen Closer and the chemesitry was not there at all w/ her love intrest in the movie...it was kind of Blaaaah and I had to watch the movie 2 times...
I seen yesterday on CNN Hollywood that Julia just got a part in some Broadway show...

Yeah in Pretty woman and Runaway Bride, she had great chemistry with Richard Gere but other than that she is crap. I'm so glad she was dropped out of Ocean'13 as well as Catherine Zeta Jones

I loved her in Pretty Woman, Notting Hill...but especially in Erin Brockovich. I don't hate her, but she really looks like she could be extremely hot-tempered.
