Hugh Grant is desperate to have children.
The actor - who is romancing stunning Jemima Khan - says he's ready to settle down and start at family now he's reached 45.
He said: "I must have children. "Everyone has them but me. I think I'd be a delightful father."
Meanwhile, Hugh has admitted he's excited by his own fame and loves living his life in the spotlight.
He said: "Fame titillates me. I know I shouldn't enjoy it so much - instant gratification. But otherwise, basically, my life is so boring - it's embarrassing."
The star says he's always wanted to enjoy an A-list lifestyle. He told Britain's OK! magazine: "I've always wanted to be a jetsetter, flying off to parties in New York and Monte Carlo. I quite like the luxury."

Gotta say I do like his honesty. He would be a funny day, especially for a boy. I am wondering how old he would be get a prostitute for his birthday?

It would be the biggest mistake in the world if this man were to breed. Don't get me wrong - I love Grant. He just makes a better actor than a father. I've read/watched too many 'old' interviews where he always stated he abhors the thought of children and he certainly doesn't have a paternal side to him IMO.

I agree and is the only reason he wants children is because everyone else has them but him???

45?! Isn't that a little old to start having children? Does he even have a wife/girlfriend yet?

Great actor, yet he strikes me as having the brain of Anna Nicole when it comes to children, they both have no clue.

I totally agree. I don't know though if I'm just stereotyping him because he always plays the same immature, awkward, quirky and eccentric guy who doesn't know what to do with kids in his movies (About A Boy, Nine Months)
