The September 11 Family Association says the idea should be stopped before it is aired. "This is an absolute disgrace," said a spokesman for the group. "We urge every TV network and channel planning to run this series to think again.

"The very idea that the family of a man with so much blood on his hands should profit from some sort of instant celebrity is an outrage."

Producer Judith Regan said Dufour deserves success and should be treated separately from Osama. She explained: "Wafah may be related to Osama, but she isn't him. She's a beautiful young woman who is gifted and trying to find her own way in life.

"She has a lot of allure, sex appeal and personality – and she can sing. She has sisters and she fights with her mom. It'll be an interesting show."

Regan is currently marketing the series to networks.

I can understand their anger, even though she is estranged from her dad and has no connection whatsoever with her uncle, she remains the niece of 'World no.1 wanted man'. If she feels discriminated, she can always go back to Switzerland, her mother's native country.

Well be realistic she won't be able to fight a whole nation's perspective on her family. She is doomed like the rest of the family, there is nothing she can do about it but keep begging people to like her "oh i am like you, please don't hate me, i share your values..." like she's been saying continiously. I know it hurts but her pleas didn't make them change their opinion regarding her except she is now with no dignity.

Well, maybe the reality show will help with that.^ She's an American, after all... maybe if people see her being like every other pretty young woman living a regular life, they'll let up.
