Rachel Hunter to be a singer

Supermodel RACHEL HUNTER plans to follow in the footsteps of estranged husband ROD STEWART with a singing career.

The New Zealand-born beauty - whose former partner's hits inspired London musical TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT - has hired a private vocal coach to teach her to sing to West End musical standards.

She reveals, "I'm taking lessons at the moment to strengthen my voice so that I can cope with singing every night - like I would have to in a West End show. I would love to come to the UK and do a West End show - something like CHICAGO or THE PRODUCERS."
