American actress PIPER PERABO struggled to perfect an English accent for her new movie IMAGINE ME + YOU, particularly when it came to swearing.
The 29-year-old star - who plays a Londoner in the romantic comedy - prefers swearing in her native accent because it's less time consuming.
She tells Hotdog magazine, "I think and American saying w**ker doesn't have the same weight as when a Brit says it. For some reason 'c**p' was the hardest word. I say it once in the film and it was like a gillion takes."

Why not just listen to the British say it when you're having your lattes?
Dork...ette. Dorkette.

I actually think her name in itself is a bit of a mouthful, Piper Perabo, Piper Perabo, Piper Perabo, sounds like a red lorry yellow lorry type tongue twister.

OK, someone's gotta spell this one out for me; the only word I could come up with was "crap", and I doubt that has to be starred out.

I always thought she was cute.
That said no one tell you to f-off better than someone with a British accent.

I do. I just take care not to say it in front of any British people, so as not to be laughed at.

Its like when an aussie/brit tries to say ass or damnit, it doesnt sound quite right. Everyone tells me I sounds too snobby when I say ass because it sounds like arse, all proper.

OK, prn, for us Americans, i found these possibilities:
Crap - The same word in both countries - but less rude here (meaning the US). I loved watching Brits being interviewed on US chat shows and embarrassing the interviewer when they said something was "total crap".
Camp - Someone who displays effeminate or gay behaviour is somewhat camp. And to "camp it up" would be to dress in drag.
