Pink's music eases sexually abused fan's pain

Pop punk PINK was left heart-broken when she received a letter from a fan suffering sexual abuse at the hands of a family member - but was comforted to learn her music provides the teenager with a form of escape.

The JUST LIKE A PILL hitmaker has always used music as a therapeutic release when she's experienced bad times, and gets pleasure from knowing her music eases her fans' pain.

She says, "One girl wrote to say, 'I live with grandfather, my mother just died, and he was raping her and now he's raping me. I don't know what to do and if it wasn't for your music I would kill myself. What do you suggest?'

"I was speechless. Can I take you out of your home? Can I kill your grandfather? What can I do? Call the authorities. Write it down and get it out in the open.

"As far as I'm concerned, songs, music and poetry have always been my therapy."

Pink shouldn't make public statements about allegations that haven't
been proven in court...true or not. I realize that issue makes people
quick to anger but young girls have lied about this sort of thing before.

It's not like she said "Mr. Fred Jones residing at 1245 Rosebud Lane, Bangor, Maine aged 78. Birhtdate 01-04-28 with social security # ...... is raping his grandaughter.
Some kid turned to her for help. For support. To let her know that what she did in life helped her cope.
What is wrong with that?
ETA: people have lied about sexual abuse-true. But I guarantee you for every one that has lied there are thousands who have told the truth and the sad part is that some of those won't be believed and they will continue to live in fear and pain until they end up doing something stupid.
