Lindsay Lohan to play in 'Dallas' remake?

'Legally Blonde' star Luke Wilson and Oscar-winner Shirley MacLaine are also expected to have parts.

Director Robert Zemeckis claims some of Hollywood's biggest stars are desperate to win roles in the remake of the show, which aired from 1978 to 1991.

He said: "There are gifts being exchanged and people scratching each other's eyes out."

Shooting is expected to start in October.

I heard about JLo playing Sue Ellen. What an insult to Linda Gray. Couldnt they cast people who sort of resemble the original actor/actresses? Sue Ellen was not Puertican or part Puertican. Does sound bad.

This casting so far sounds ridiculous. The only one in my opinion that sounds like it might work is Travolta as JR. The others are a joke!

They had better get busy and hire those 'biggest stars in Hollywood' if they want this movie to work.
I don't see anything 'stunning' about Lindsay Lohan. But I'm stunned that they think she can play a 'sexy' role like Lucy Ewing!! Who are they going to hire as Pam, Lucy Liu?

Not sure how this whole thing will play out, but I could see LiLo doing Lucy....we all agree that the movie prolly won't do too well, who would you like to see in it?

ah well lohan tried to get scarletts career and it didnt work, may as well go for the big bucks and steal jessica simpons out from under her feet.

As for that picture I thought the 'music' industry has gotten over making 'rock chicks' out of girls who wouldnt know real rock music if it came up and bit them on the ass. Having them wear a guitar as a necklace does not make them rock chicks, nor cool, nor grungey.

Love the google ads though. tehe.

I thought of Jess for the role of Lucy too. Just kinda fits, strangely.

LiLo would have to pull off a southern accent. Can she do that? I think she's played the same character in every movie she's been in...although I loved Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.

But J.Lo as Sue Ellen? It just doesn't jive.
