Rosario Dawson reveals she is "lopsided" and lived in a squat

She told Esquire magazine: "I have no hips. I'm the hipless wonder."
Meanwhile, Rosario recently revealed she grew up in a squat.
The star says her parents were so poor that at one point, they almost ended up living on the street.
She revealed: "My mum broke into a building when I was six and my brother was one. She thought it was better to move us into a squat with no running water, no electricity and no heat than to stay in the slum were in, with rats running through the room and the bath tub in the kitchen."
The 26-year-old added: "For me, as a child, living that life was all I knew."

It is so not news that she lived in a squat. I remember when she first started getting noticed, that was one of the key ingredients in any article about her.

The squatter thing was all they talked about on the Rent commentary. They kept saying she helped a lot with the realism because she had lived that life. They also were saying that her mom visited the set one of the days she was wearing the drugged out makeup and contacts and her mom had a breakdown because she never wanted to see her daughter like that since so many people they knew ended up that way.
