Teri Hatcher had her first date with American Idol's Ryan Seacrest at the romantic Los Angeles restaurant, Extra reports. Teri and Ryan were spotted with a group of friends leaving upscale French restaurant after Ryan reportedly picked up the $2,800 bill. "I think she's great," Ryan previously told Exta about the Desperate Housewives star.

Forget 44-year-old hunk George Clooney. Teri Hatcher apparently has her sights set on a much younger, yet slightly shorter, man - 31-year-old super host Ryan Seacrest.



Desperate Housewife Hatcher has apparently indulged in a number of dates with the 'American Idol' emcee, 10 years her junior.
Seacrest recently began hosting some red carpet events for E!, including this month's star-packed Academy Awards. Let's hope he didn't get too jealous of all the Clooney questions Hatcher has been getting lately.
But there's no need to fret: Clooney has quashed any rumours that the pair have been dating. Clooney's spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, quoted the 'Syriana' star saying, "I spoke with George, he told me 'The rumours, reports etc, that I've had several dates with Teri Hatcher are not true.
And when Hatcher was asked she responded, "If I went on a date with George Clooney I would not be talking about it.
Seacrest seems to be a guy she didn't mind talking about however, since a friend revealed, "Teri really enjoys his company.
