LOVERS JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and CAMERON DIAZ are to team up for their first movie together, as an ice-dancing couple.
The pair are keen to cash in on the current skating craze to try to make a cool fortune.
But they must tread carefully for I fear they may catch a cold — risking both their professional and personal lives.
Hollywood history is littered with movie flops starring couples who wrongly believed their real-life love could transfer into box office bucks.
Instead, it more often than not leads to the pair splitting up.
Justin and Cam have thrown their acting hats into the rink and have begun developing an as-yet-untitled romantic skating flick with themselves as the leading couple.
A friend of the couple told me: “They came up with the idea during a stay in England last month when Cameron was filming Holiday with JUDE LAW. They loved ITV1’s Dancing On Ice and saw what a hit it was. Then they came up with the idea for an ice skating movie. It’s not been done before and is perfect for a film together.
“Justin has been taking lessons. He’s already a great dancer and he’s progressing well. He is visiting a rink twice a week for intensive coaching. Cameron is signing up soon for her lessons. They have commissioned a screenwriter and are convinced it will be a massive hit.”
Although the couple worked together on voicing the animated film Shrek 3, Cameron and Justin have not starred opposite each other before on the big screen.
I reckon they are in grave danger of falling victim to the Hollywood curse of the couple.
MADONNA and SEAN PENN’s Shanghai Surprise from 1986 is one of the worst movies ever made. They divorced three years later.
BEN AFFLECK and J-LO’s appalling Gigli came just before they split — and their careers have never recovered.
Eyes Wide Shut is not regarded as one of TOM CRUISE or NICOLE KIDMAN’s finest works. They divorced in 2001, two years after the film, STANLEY KUBRICK’s last, came out.
I just hope that Justin and Cameron’s project doesn’t get a frosty reception.

I think it's corny for a real life celeb couple to star in a movie together and I find both Justin and Cameron

Wasn't casting Timberlake in Shrek 3 because Cameron demanded it enough?!? They're going to be the new Bennifer 1.0, lol

I thought I posted in this thread, but it disappeared.
Anyway, this is going to suck so hard.
Justin nor Cameron have any appreciable acting talent and Cameron will look pretty ridiculous as a 35 year old elite figure skater.
