Lindsay Lohan's mother worried smoking habit could kill daughter

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina admits she has been left in tears by her daughter's smoking.

The worried mother says she has tried to get the asthmatic 'Mean Girls' actress to quit because she is terrified the deadly habit could kill her one day.

She said: "You think I like it? No. I cry to her. I told her, 'You have to stop smoking. You have asthma. You could die'."

Dina, who has played a big part in masterminding her daughter's hugely successful career, is hopeful Lindsay, 19, will quit one day but claims she is still trying to be a rebellious teenager at present.

She added to America's Seventeen magazine: "I can tell her to stop, but I'm her mother. Does anyone listen to their mother at 19?"

I think she should be more worried about her daughters steady diet of alcohol, meth, coke, etc...

Actually with her smoking and asthma, she's at a 12 times higher risk of emphysema/chronic bronchitis than the average smoker. Her mom should be scared out of her mind. Still, I don't think she's going to win any mom of the year awards any time soon.

Worried about smoking, will her daughter's sleeping with everything in trousers. (By now that girl's got more creepy crawlies in her underwear than Paris Hilton!) You see, she is a good mom after all. By the way, the 'asthma attack' was probably drug related.

I doubt that Lindsay even has asthma. They probably claim it because its a relatively believable and very convenient explanation for her frequent trips to the hospital or ER for drug overdoses and plastic surgeries. I can just see Dina's next statement: "Lindsay's a very sick girl... she needs all of your support right now. Last night, at around 3 am, Lindsay had a severe asthma attack as she was exiting the shower at a private party for Bill Murray. It was so intense that Lindsay, who is also a diabetic, broke several blood vessels in her nose, causing it to bleed uncontrollably, and had to give herself several insulin shots, causing track marks and bruises to be visible on her arm as she was transported, completely naked and still wearing the handcuffs that Mr. Murray so kindly used to restrain her in an attempt to control the asthma-related convulsions, to the emergency room."

i knew a guy who ran the 500 meter at college and near olympic speeds and he had bad asthma. also was captain of the varsity hockey, football and soccer team so who knows what's going on with him.

Honestly, I think what's happened to Lohan is very sad...she needs help like, yesterday. If she keeps it up, I think she'll be in a wooden box by the time she's 25.
