Serial bride LISA MARIE PRESLEY insists she married pop superstar MICHAEL JACKSON because he could empathise with her upbringing in the limelight.

The daughter of rock legend ELVIS PRESLEY - who recently wed guitarist MICHAEL LOCKWOOD - now realises her nuptials with Jackson were a lapse in judgement.

She says, "I have never met a man who could cope with me, who I am, the Presley name. Which is why I married someone even more famous than myself. Hiding behind someone else was, I guess, easier, although not necessarily the right thing to do."

There are a lot of losers out there. It must be even more difficult for her because she has a famous father and she inherited lots of money. You don't know who really loves you for you or they're just with you for some ulterior motive...money, eye candy or just to say they're banging Elvis' kid.

Elvis was a womanizer, cheater, drug-addict and obviously had rage issues...the dude was shooting out t.v.'s just for the hell of it and was a compulsive spender. He was practically broke when he died. Yeah, Lisa's married 4 times but what about him? My God, Elvis was a notorious womanizer. He cheated left and right and only married once. What's better, to whore around and not marry or to marry? Elvis was a wonderful performer but he was no example on fidelity or how to stay with one person for life. Elvis could never be and never was with just one woman...maybe Lisa Marie's looking for the love she never had. She was for all intents and purposes an only child. That must've sucked. Her father was too busy on the road kissing all them chicks onstage and when he was home, he tried to buy his kid's love by giving her mink coats! And her mother was shipping her off to boarding schools since she was little. IMO both Elvis and Priscilla were shitty parents who should've tried spending more time with their kid. Maybe then Lisa wouldn't be married 4 times. She, like anyone else is a product of her environment.
