Hilary Duff insists she will never lift the lid on her love life like her pop rivals Lindsay Lohan and Ashlee Simpson.
The sexy teen singer, who is dating Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, says she hates stars who reveal every sordid detail of their private lives.
She said: "I don't feel like I need to prove myself to anybody. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I don't feel like I need to tell somebody my dirty little secrets."
Hilary has also confessed she is sick of people attacking her over her relationship with Joel.
She added to Britain's TV Hits magazine "They don't accept me as his girlfriend because he doesn't look as perfect as I do - but I don't really care."
