Keira Knightley's former classmates speak out

Keira Knightley's ex-classmates have spoken out against the Hollywood star.

Former pupils at Teddington School in south-west London believe that many of Knightley's claims about her school days are lies.

"I am certainly not envious and had no falling out with her. But I do think she is the most arrogant and stuck up person I have had the misfortune to meet in my life," Matt Trainis told The Mirror.

"A lot of people were really annoyed because she made out that she was from some sort of rough background and went to this rough-house school. She made out she was some flower which had grown out of the dirt. Rubbish. The reason she got into film is because her parents have contacts in the industry.

"The truth is, she was a grade-A student who was always in the top sets at school and came from a privileged background."

Knightley has previously said that she was bullied in school because she has dyslexia, but former headmaster Richard Weeks has a different version of events.

"As far as I knew, there was never any question of her having dyslexia - it was never mentioned to me by any of the teachers," Weeks said. "Everyone at the school liked Keira and I thought she liked everyone here."

Did no one tell her the new thing is anorexia? Maybe she should start telling people she doesn't eat. It's not a huge stretch anyway.

Bullied because of dyslexia. That is TOO funny. Are we supposed to believe that? Do kids care if another kid is dyslexic?

They do it in America too. All these celebrities (actors, musicians, anybody in entertainment) they're all victims who came from nothing and got to the top the hard way, and only because they are so fucking talented. Oh, boo hoo!

Feel bad for me! And give me my Oscar out of pity!

As for Keira, she does seem to lie a good deal from what I can tell, but I still like her. She's one of those flaky types and there's nothing to be done with them.

I remember her saying in an interview that she liked school and that she was a straight A student, or something along those lines. When did she start saying otherwise?

I don't know about that, but I do remember when she admitted to lip collagen, then denied lip collagen and denied she ever admitted it. She has also claimed that her rock hard abs came from working out for a movie, then later claimed they are natural and she never works out.

I have never seen what the fuss is over. Sure I think she looked pretty in POTC, but apart from that, I find her bland and not overly attractive.
