Default Jon Bon Jovi: 'Franz Ferdinand stole my style'

Rock legend JON BON JOVI has accused Scottish rockers FRANZ FERDINAND of stealing his style.

The LIVIN' ON A PRAYER hitmaker wore smart suits onstage during the 1980s, but has since opted for a more mature wardrobe.
But he is considering dusting off his old outfits after watching Franz Ferdinand shoot to fame wearing suits and ties.

He says, "I buy suits, mainly Hugo Boss, but they tend to stay in the closet. It's a b**ch. "I just saw that Franz Ferdinand are wearing those tight satin bomber jackets and I thought, 'Hey, we had those back in the Eighties.'

"I may start wearing parachute pants and bandanas tied around my thighs again, though. Never say never."

Scottish band. They're fun. Their song "Do You Want To" kind of sounds Beatles-ey.

And it's not like Bon Jovi is the only one in the world who wears a suit and tie. Good grief. That's like saying Lindsay Lohan copied Isadora Duncan because they both wear scarves (LL says she's trying to make them her "signature" thing)

I just noticed today is Jon Bon Jovi's 44th birthday. Maybe growing older is getting to him and that's why he's snarking on everyone else.

Talk about a mid-life crisis being played out in front of the world...which doesn't seem to care much except to mock him mercilessly. What an idiot. He wishes he had a band like Franz Ferdinand.

I just read that now he's griping about Axl Rose getting more press coverage than HE gets. Looks like Jon's ego has gotten bigger than his big head can handle. He's sounding like a jealous, bitter hasbeen and I don't know why he's doing it. He's still touring and making appearances. Why is he so afraid of any competition?
He claims Axl gets more coverage because he's a 'recluse'. I think Jon should become a recluse himself for a while and give it a rest.

As a fan of Franz Ferdinand, the LAST thing they remind me is Bon Jovi!
Someone tell this morom that the bands of the 60´s used to wear that kind of stuff way before the crazy glam people of the 80´s !

I just saw an interview with Franz Ferdinand; they remind me more of
the Replacements ("I would walk 500 miles...") than they ever will of
    Bon Jovi.

    WTF was Jon talking about?
