Okay, so it's from a tabloid but it's still fodder for the "Gay Ache In" fans to mull over exactly what they saw in this ugly nancy boy in the first place.

While in Boston on tour on Dec. 5, a source claims a lonely Clay Aiken logged onto manhunt.net, a Web site created for men seeking to have sex with other men, from the Wyndham Hotel. Clay eventually found himself an instant message buddy — according to the source, who is a male school teacher — and apparently sent the man photos of himself — clothed and partially-clothed! — via a Web cam!

Clay's alleged online buddy did have a sense of humor, though: He ribbed superstar Clay about staying at the ever-so-economical Wyndham Hotel. Below, is the conversation which the source claims took place between financially sensible Clay, and his online buddy, about Clay's less-than-glitzy lodgings:

If you were a singer on tour, you have to pay out of your own pocket for expenses for yourself and your band. Including hotel rooms. Now, you might splurge on yourself, but would you really want to pay to put your band and backup singers and roadies up in the poshest hotels in town? I wouldn't. I guess I'm cheap too.

Why does the guy in the body shot photo seem to have a black mask over his face? I think at least the body shots are faked. I think Clay may very well be gay, but I don't think he's stupid enough to expose himself like that.

Someone needs to venture onto a Clay fan site and see what the Claymates are saying about all this. I think I just might do that in a bit.

[Edit: Once I read a few Claymate threads about praying for Clay and whatnot, and finding a whole page of fan fiction ('Make love to me, Clay"), I can't take any more. I quit!]

No one laugh, but I sort of feel sorry for him. I guess he wasn’t ready to
come out, so he lied. Now he has to keep the charade going.

He needs to find someone who doesn’t blab all over the place.

Anyway, straight or gay, he looks like a wimp.
