Juliette Lewis found peace and drug-free life through Scientology

"So whenever I go back home, it's something I go back to, there's always so much to learn.

"Because of all the stuff I've done in Scientology, it made me more fearless and allowed me to listen to my inner artistic voice.

"In that sense, it's actually made me more of an individual, more expressive, which is very important for an artist."

Other celebrity followers of the religion include JOHN TRAVOLTA and TOM CRUISE.

She can't undone the damage Tom Cruise has done to Scientology, even by saying it helped her with drug addiction and she's sober or whatever. I can only imagine her jumping up and down on a couch high on vitamins.

Wasn't she born into Scientology? You'd think she'd have a better chance of NOT getting into drug addiction (or make The Other Sister, for that matter) if their program was so great...

Yeah i thought so cos her dad is Scientologist as well. But i am sure she has been Scientologist at least for 17 years now.

OMG that movie was so bad!

That blows. I always sort of liked Juliette Lewis - she didn't seem like the type to be suckered in to Scientology.

I don't mean to offend anyone or their religious beliefs, but...the same thing happened to my sister and the Jehovah's Witnesses...they came around one day and my sister started talking to them. They came around again, staying a little longer this time. Soon they were coming around a few times a week. Before you knew it, my sister was talking about becoming a JW.
My sister had some addiction problems and I honestly think they take that 'weakness' and use it. IMO it seems that they prey on people with a weak mind. Weird thing is a few years later they did the same thing with my brother who also had some addiction problems....
