Now that was a fucked up situation.
contactmusic.comSEX AND THE CITY star CYNTHIA NIXON has thanked the press and public for respecting her privacy since it was revealed she is having a relationship with another woman.
The actress, who played cynical lawyer MIRANDA HOBBS on the hit show, split from her childhood sweetheart, DANNY MOZES, in 2003.
The couple have two children together, CHARLES, three, and SAMANTHA, nine.
Tabloid media reports exposed Nixon's lesbian relationship with CHRISTINE MARINONI soon after the split, sparking a media feeding frenzy.
Nixon explains, "It was a little crazy being on the front page of the paper, and I had photographers outside my house for a day or two, but, it wasn't so bad. I think people have been pretty good, I have to say. They understand and they're pretty respectful."
Now that was a fucked up situation.
I am oddly fascinated by this too for some reason.....

What do you think makes so many women these days decide they are lesbians only after they've gotten married and had children?
From what I've read on Gawker Stalker, if you even look at this woman, let alone approach her, she turns into a megabitch. (I'm talking about Cynthia Nixon)
Not like having at attitude has ever stopped the paps before, but...
Mischief. Mayhem. Tattoos. Soap.
They're probably 'respectful' cause she's not that big a star.
^^ ditto that.
So she really is a lesbian?
Technically, but I don't see the point, since her "girlfriend" looks like a lumberjack. Why get w/ a woman that looks, acts and talks like a man, but is missing the equipment?Originally Posted by ralphycnan

I had no idea she had been married and had kids.
I agree with your post feliciakb... to me it's just weird...![]()
And I always thought Cyn would be the er, man.Originally Posted by feliciakb
She wasn't married. She was just with this guy since junior high or something. They had two kids together and she up and left for She Man.
The girlfriend really does look like a lumberjack.
Well, strange as it may seem, nor all relationships are based on looks alone.Originally Posted by feliciakb

Seriously, though, I agree up to a point. I'm attracted to women, but I'd never go for those big butch-looking ones if I had to judge solely on appearances. It's befuddling.
