Hollywood actress NATALIE PORTMAN understands her childhood in troubled Israel much better after filming new terrorist movie V FOR
VENDETTA.
The STAR WARS beauty always struggled to understand what motivated Palestinian terrorists to commit atrocities - but she now realises it's impossible to reach definite answers.
She says, "I loved that it raised a lot of questions that have no answers. You could debate about them for the rest of your life and never come to a concrete conclusion.
"That's the best kind of questioning. Coming from a place like Israel where, my whole life growing up, violence and terrorism is part of your daily ideas and life, it's always been interesting for me to think - what does take it for a person to become violent to express their political beliefs?
"I just thought it was amazing the character can go from being afraid of being political because of her experience with her parents to becoming politicised and convinced that violence was a way to express your political ideals."

Her last name was Hershlag, but since she's been acting since she was a child, I'm guessing it was her parents' decision to give her an easier stage name. Hershlag is ugly and they know it!

She only lived in Israel until she was about 3. What a fucking drama queen.

I had a friend who loved Israel, the nightclubs, etc.
Of course he was rich so wasn't really in the "danger zone". But can you blame someone for being rich?
Plus he said that the media plays it up much worse than it actually is.

Why is she suddenly droning on about her childhood and religion? The nose job and name change don't make me think she's really all that into her 'background'.

b/c all the stuff about Israel is in the news lately...she just wants to throw her name in the mix. "I'm from Israel! Pay attention to me too! It was horrible! Go ahead...ask me about it!"

"Because I'm such a genius and have been since birth that I remember every single thing that happened before the age of three!" YOu mean something like that?

well, he was in the danger zone. All the nightclubs, etc. are in Tel Aviv, where a good number of bombings took place.
what a stupid b*tch, though. Now she is going to play the 'I'm politically correct' card.
