The story reports that Jen has a great network of friends to lean on as well. But even though she has someone like BFF Courtney Cox that is available 24/7 she realizes that she needs professional guidance to get her through the difficult times, the report claims.

Jennifer had used a professional therapist "for years," according to the report.

But she quit 'cold turkey' in October 2005, the report claims. Of course, that's the same month that her divorce from Brad became official.

Come on, guys, Jennifer was married to Brad for 5 years, so it's not like she's going to get over him immediately. Plus she has to see him and Angelina splashed across the tabloids every day and hear about their growing family. I'm not a big Jennifer Aniston fan, but I can understand where she's coming from.

Me too. It's unrealistic to expect her to be over it. Given the way things ended, why would Brad call her? He should know her well enough to know that'd probably be much worse than if he didn't. (I think anyway) Maybe it has to do with that missing *sensitivity chip*

Oh please, she hasnt been able to shut her big manly yap for like a year now..playing the "im such a victim, but i'll blab to every publication i can find.. boohoo, poor me, i need an audience for my private life"

At least the adulterers have more class than to discuss their lives

I agree with that too. If I were famous and didn't think I could completely keep my emotions under wraps I'd drop off the face of the earth for awhile before I'd let anyone know my personal shit.

She has talked about the situation too much, I agree. She would probably get more sympathy if she had been more discreet, like Nicole Kidman was when she and Tom Cruise divorced. But I still feel sorry for Jennifer Aniston, getting dumped in such a public and embarrassing way.

They say that divorce is just as traumatic as a death. Besides, she can boohoo all she wants to the therapist, she is paying him/her to listen.

Would I be right to assume that most people here would be over a marriage of 5 years without any therapy and no talking about it at all????? You guys must be made of steel! Cause I would personally be a mess.

ps. I would file for divorce as well if I had even an inkling my hubby was straying.

I'm just confused about why she chose to stop seeing a therapist when she filed for divorce. And now Brad & Angelina are being blamed for her going back to a therapist.

When you've been going to one regularly for years, and something major happens, you don't just suddenly decide you don't need it. If it's not helping you, get another therapist.
