When is the wrong time to ask for an autograph?
Quote:
February 15, 2006 -- FANS need to know when it's inappropriate to ask for an autograph, and here's a hint - don't bother Sean Lennon when he's in the men's room. The Beatles spawn was shooting a video for his "Dead Meat" track at the Spanish Mission in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., when, according to his rep Elliot Mintz, "One man followed him into the bathroom and during a compromising moment asked Sean for his autograph. Sean indicated that was not the time to ask for the autograph." Lennon was perfectly willing later to sign his name outside. Meanwhile, Mintz - who appears in the video as a bartender with a fake mustache - confirmed a tip that Lennon spent the night with his makeup artist the night before, but only out of necessity. "Sean and his crew are shooting this video on a shoestring budget," Mintz explained. "So he said, 'Anyone who needs to crash in my room, they are welcome.' The makeup lady needed a place to sleep, so she crashed in his room, but nothing happened." The previous week, Lennon took over directing duties when Lindsay Lohan filmed her cameo in the video.
