"But I fear what she might write now to make the book sell."

Daddy Love is a complete asshole. Remember the Kurt and Courtney movie, where he basically said she killed Kurt, without having one shred of evidence. The mother isn't much better. A well-educated psychiatrist who really did a number on her kid. Me, I like Courtney. Sure she's a nutjob but somehow I find her sympathetic.

I like her, too. So many times people just assume that because you are an alchoholic or drug addict you do it 'for the fun of it'...most times it is to hide some deep seated hurt and mental problems...I think she had a fucked up childhood and drugs helped her cope. She didn't know any other way to dull the pain, and the drugs did that for her...I just hope that she and her daughter maintain an open relationship so she doesn't have to go down the same road later in life...

I k now what you're saying but while he was busy getting Courtney knocked up, he was also shooting heroin. That certainly couldn't have been good. And I thought there were conflicting reports on whether or not she did drugs during the pregnancy.

As I obviously have no way of knowing the facts here, I would just like to imagine that she did not know she was pregnant at the time....I know a girl that we went to a wedding reception with and got pretty tanked, see her months later and she is visibly pregnant...I was taken aback at first, thinking she drank knowing she was pregnant...turns out she didn't know at the time...
