Roseanne Barr not embarrassed by her life anymore
Quote:
Comedienne ROSEANNE BARR is thankful her ROSEANNE sitcom fame is in the past, so she can settle down and enjoy a normal family life.
The 53-year-old recalls her frantic TV career made it impossible for her to stay grounded but insists getting older has also made her wiser.
The star says, "For a decade, I wasn't in this world. At the end of it, like RIP VAN WINKLE, I came back and found that everything had changed. Suddenly there were computers and emails, and it took me another 10 years to catch up with regular people.
"But the TV show is over. What am I going to do? I can't boss people around any more - sad but true. There is no one to f**gging fight with any more.
"I've been through a lot, but now I've come through to the other side. I've learned from my mistakes.
"Despite being a miserable old bat sometimes, I'm generally pretty happy with myself. I can look myself in the eye.
"Now I would not be embarrassed for God to be taping every scene from my life and showing it to the world. I'm feeling in touch with the good part of my life."
