Marcia Cross grateful for 'Desperate Housewives' rumours

Redhead MARCIA CROSS refuses to condemn tabloid rumours her DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES co-stars are feuding, because she believes the reports fuel the TV show's ratings.

Cross, EVA LONGORIA, TERI HATCHER, NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN and FELICITY HUFFMAN hit the headlines last April (05) when Vanity Fair journalists claimed the actresses had a bust-up during a photoshoot for the magazine and claimed Cross stormed off the set because she was jealous of the attention Hatcher was receiving.

However, Cross insists it's inevitable female co-stars are reported to be enemies.

She says, "I've been in the business long enough to understand where it all originates from. But if it helps with our ratings, then that's great."
