Chris Klein speaks out about breakup with Holmes

It was as storybook as Hollywood could get.

For five years, Chris Klein and Katie Holmes were a hot item. They were even engaged in 2003. But as Chris explained to Details magazine, the relationship ended in March for one simple reason.
“We grew up,” Chris explained. “The fantasy was over, and reality set in. We weren’t lighting each other’s fire anymore.”

And, according to Brian Farnham, Details’ deputy editor, the two haven’t spoken since.
“They have no contact,” Brian said. “There was a rumor going around that she had been calling him but that turned out not to be true. They really broke it off completely.”

Chris (whose film credits include the “American Pie” movies, as well as “We Were Soldiers” and “Rollerball”) said he is living well and not looking back, telling Details: “I’m not lonely. I’ll tell you that, I’m certainly not crying myself to sleep at night, sucking my thumb. No, Dude, I’m out and about.”

I used to think he simply got fed up with not getting any, but now that it's only been 6 mos since they broke up and she's obviously more knocked up than she and the maniacal elf would want us to believe, I'm not so sure...

And as for the repeatedly calling him up after rumors turning out to suddenly be *not true*now that it appears Katie isn't waffling anymore and will go through with the deal...never underestimate the power of *the cult* to make things disappear.

yeah, I agree with beauty. He comes across as sweet and normal, although who knows...it could mask a complete fuck head.

It's really interesting how absolutely nobody seems to believe that Tommy really fathered her baby, eh? At least not in the usual way.

How could an elf father a baby? He'd have to take run and jumps at it to even hope for a home run. Or climb a ladder up to it, or throw a rope and pull himself up, he is just too short and totally sterile to father anything.
