Did you like Sin City? Do you want to see a sequel to Sin City? Do you want to see Angelina Jolie in a sequel to Sin City? Well, the rumour mill is suggesting you might just get that wish. Ain't It Cool News asks the question on everyone's some people's a few people's minds.Did Robert [Rodriguez] really talk to Angelina Jolie about starring in A DAME TO KILL FOR... I know she's certainly a dame most any of us would kill for! Damn that Brad! I don't know. This is one very unsubtantiated rumour. I can't even find the source of it, but it sounds like some pretty good casting. Angelina Jolie would definitely fit into the Noir world of Sin City, that's for sure.

It would be cool, but I'm holding out for her to return to grittier roles. She won't, but I'm holding out anyway.

No no no, she'd ruin it for me unless she was totally unrecognisable. This would be a case where the actor/actress is too high profile in real life to be as convincing as an unknown character anymore on film and i loved the first Sin City. Other names guilty of this IMO are Bruce Willis (again.....he was playing Bruce rather than Hartigan and ever so slightly spoiled it for me), Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, and Nicole Kidman are others who are now too high profile to be as convincing as they once were. I think an unknown hottie would be a better choice. That or make her so unrecognisable so you dont know its her. Mickey Rourke was fantastic as Marv!!!!
Mind you it would be ironic if she was cast, as the character of The Dame (Ava) is the ex girlfriend of Dwight , played in the original by Clive Owen (also signed up for the sequel), who has just been in Derailed with Ms Anniston. Could be interesting!

That will be the day. I mean take her role in Alexander playing Colin Farrel's mother. She didn't age a bit in it. They could of at least put a few fake greys in her hair for goodness sake. Anyhow, I would honestly rather see Jessica Alba back in Sin City. She is not a fantastic actress by tick of the clock but I find her to be a lot more attractive than Jolie and more suited for that kind of role.
Jolie can play roles like the mother in Cheaper by the Dozen now.
Just kidding guys.

They did put little grey into her hair, and they aged her a little with makeup, but her character was only supposed to be like 40 years old, and maybe near 50 when he died. The real reason it looked so weird is because Colin didn't look young enough for Alexander, he was only supposed to be in his 20's. The whole movie was a mistake anyway.
I really doubt she will accept a role in Sin City 2, but who knows. I don't think it would be a very good idea, though.

I think that Angelina has a "darkness" to her that would suit the style of the movie. Personally I would love to see her in the sequel.
