Quote:
ANGELINA JOLIE has laughed off reports she's about to wed BRAD PITT in Europe - insisting she won't marry for a third time.
In a brief and candid interview with American tabloid the Globe's LEON WAGENER the pregnant TOMB RAIDER star insists marriage couldn't be further from her mind.
She says, "We will never marry. Brad is going through a divorce and I've been divorced twice, so it's not something we're considering."
In other news the Hollywood supercouple BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE have sparked speculation they are looking to set up home in Berlin - after meeting with architects in the German capital.
The expectant parents visited Berlin's Jewish museum with THOMAS WILLEMEIT, LARS KRUECKEBERG, and WOLFRAM PUTZ, who renovated Pitt's Los Angeles home.
Pitt told reporters, "I am very happy here. We arrived at the weekend and will stay some days. Just hanging around, visiting friends."
But the couple's appearance in Berlin has prompted rumours they are considering setting up home there.
Pitt fell in love with the city after shooting SPY GAME with ROBERT REDFORD there in 2000, and he is known be looking for a European base - after viewing properties in Britain a few years ago.

Wasn't there a thread that said Angelina didn't want to restrict herself
sexually by something as archaic as marriage?
Why yes: here's one of them, wherein Jenny Shimizu stakes a claim to her.
And here's another, wherein Jonny Lee Miller says he's not done
with Angelina's body either.

I noticed that she said he was 'going through a divorce' as well. The ink is dry on those papers and quite frankly, I find it hard to believe she would talk to a reporter from the Globe. And maybe she's just throwing them off the scent.

I find it rather interesting that you were the same person that sent me a private message alerting me to my warning regarding Grimmlok. Until I get a guideline as to the kinds of post I can make, only then will I censor my posts.....got it!

Berlin hmmm? Interesting choice as a home but somehow I cannot see Brad living there. Angelina yes, but not Brad. It's the antithesis of Hollyweird in many ways.

Interesting how Octo is whining about censorship, when she was telling me to shut up and go elsewhere.

Call me old fashioned, but I think a couple should be married if they are having a child together.

^^ My thoughts exactly. It'll be interesting to hear what her supporters have to say when she actually does marry him. I can hear it now...she can change her mind (afterall, lifechanging events can seem very different after a whole week), they misquoted her, we just don't understand her complexities blablablah.

I guess my point is this: if you don't want to be with someone for the rest of your life, why have a child with them??
I work w/ a girl who got pregnant on purpose w/ her boyfriend & she tells me she NEVER wants to marry him. I don't understand, why tie yourself to someone with a child if you don't want to be w/ them forever??

Frankie, my personal belief is that kids need stability. That means having people in their lives who are permanent and reliable. Kids also need routine. I just don't think they thrive as well in an enviornment with such uncertainty. My daughter is a year old and I personally can't imagine raising her without having a strong male influence in her life (my husband/her dad) who is there day in and day out. I know other situations exist that can work for kids but I really do think having children within the bounds of a happy marriage is best for them.
