Tara Reid standoff in club Shelter with ex-friend Blu Cantrell

Reid and the same fat Guido friends she's been hanging out with were at Shelter, and Tara went ballistic, tits bouncing up and down, when she saw R&B singer and rival Blu Cantrell enter the club.

Apparently, there's some "beef" between Tara and Blu, a source close to the situation tells PerezHilton.com exclusively.

Miss Reid stormed over to our pal Pantera, a noted party promoter in Los Angeles, and demanded that she kick Blu and her friends away from her table and out of the club.

"Tara told Pantera not to serve Blu and her friends," says our source. "They used to be friends, but they have been feuding for a long time now."

The Grammy-nominated songstress was appalled by Tara's sophomoric behavior but not to the point where she was above it all. With a snide remark handy, Cantrell told Reid that she was "a fake titty bitch" and left. Fierce!

"Blu was ready to kick her in her tits, but her friends had to calm her down. Tara's lucky she just got some nasty words spit in her face," adds the source. Damn, she should have deflated her tatas!!

So what started all this beef between Reid and Cantrell?

"I can tell you that Tara and Blu's feud started at a P. Diddy party a while back," says our source. "Tara hates it when other girls get more attention." That must happen A LOT!

We contacted Miz Cantrell for comment, and she told PerezHilton.com exclusively, "I have respect for everyone. If you don't get along with me, you're just hating! I tried to be the bigger person by going up to Tara when I got the club and saying hello, but she wasn't having any of that. I'm not in high school, and I don't have time for people like that."

But high school drama is soooo much fun. Isn't it?!!!

What is it with all these celebrities being so bitchy with each other lately and trying to cause fights like school kids? Its pathetically embarrassing IMO. I thought Tara was getting better lately ie. not being a drunken attention seeking slut!

Tara must hate every half decent looking female if she doesn't like people getting more attention than her. Tara was pretty once but now she's just a mess and everyone knows it.
